From
the printing press to radio, TV and the Internet, people have
used the
God-given technologies of their day to revolutionize the spreading
of God's
word. We believe that the popularity of video game technology
has set the
stage for a similar revolution focused on today's children and
their
parents. Here's why.
First,
there's just no denying that children love video games. So,
we have created a series of fun, Gospel-based games that children
will want to play again and again, thus reinforcing the Gospel
stories and Catholic teachings.
Second,
we all know that people learn more by doing as opposed to
just seeing or hearing. Each month children will be able to
interact with a Gospel story that they hear in mass. Gospel
Champions lets children DO story-related tasks within the
game's recreation of the story setting. Now children can hear
the Gospel story in Mass and can then play it at home!
Finally,
Gospel Champions creates intergenerational faith formation
opportunities in the home as children play the games with
parents and siblings.
